He and I celebrated by going to Barnes and Noble weekly story time, then over to the food court to share a piece of pizza.
It has been our long-standing Wednesday ritual. A little bittersweet today knowing that it's not going to be just he and I during this outing for much longer:( He is surprisingly cooperative during our journey, he just like to make sure we get in an elevator ride or two. The mall we go to is right in the flight path for the airport so sometimes we plane-gaze for a while before getting back into the car.
By the time we get home he is so exhausted that he goes down for his nap without one ounce of trouble.
