My sis Gigi (aka the worst blogger in the world) dared to comment that I haven't posted in a while!
Well, here's how our week has shaped up. Keith has been home for only three days, Remi's pediatrician got mad at us because he doesn't speak 50 words yet, I have a cold that could knock a horse off it's feet, Remi discovered he is agile enough to fling himself out of his crib, our front window was shot out with a BB gun, my doc said I can't go shopping or go out alone anymore, and I am one big 38.5 weeks pregnant mess!
ARGH!
Sorry. Keith has been gone a TON and I have had no one to listen to me whine...It kinda builds up and then explodes all over anyone who dares come near.
Luckily for Remington, being home a lot means lots of exploring in the backyard and inside. His favorite activities lately are...
Hiding behind the antique sewing machine and turning the wheel:
Wreaking havoc outside:
Scattering birdseed for the birds and squirrels:

Let me count the ways...
Today we celebrate 8 years of wedded bliss! Even though we're apart for the day, here are eight expressions Keith always uses. I repeat them to myself when I miss him:
1. "More's the better"
2. "Churches!"
3. "NNNyesss..."
4. "Tsk tsk, you're smarter than that."
5. "You're tougher than you think you are."
6. "I trust yoooouuu!"
7. "When have I ever told you no?"
8. "George Bush" (in a snarky tone)
Of course, I'm the only one who understands any of this nonsense, but it makes me smile just typing it out.
Keith, I love you forever and ever.

Crusty
23 Months!
Little Remi is 23 months old today!
He and I celebrated by going to Barnes and Noble weekly story time, then over to the food court to share a piece of pizza. It has been our long-standing Wednesday ritual. A little bittersweet today knowing that it's not going to be just he and I during this outing for much longer:(
He is surprisingly cooperative during our journey, he just like to make sure we get in an elevator ride or two. The mall we go to is right in the flight path for the airport so sometimes we plane-gaze for a while before getting back into the car.
By the time we get home he is so exhausted that he goes down for his nap without one ounce of trouble.

Breech
I'm well into my 36th week.
Today we found out the baby has seemingly turned and now is the the breech position. The chances of him turning the way he is supposed to are very slim at this point in the pregnancy.
Makes me glad we opted for the c-section months ago, so no new decisions need to be made.
Makes me wonder if my body really wasn't meant for delivering babies. The pregnancies go great, but when it comes to showtime...not so much.
On the plus side, my blood pressure is great:)
Remi had a big move in his life today! He got the boot from the nursery and is now in his big boy room! He didn't show one ounce of sadness or anxiety. I think he is happy for the change. I guess we'll see what he decides in the middle of the night...
