WHAT A NERD!

But I still love him. To me it is a gaffe only because 'Who Let the Dogs Out?' is such a nerdy, outdated song!!! I feel like he is the parent who tries really, really hard to be cool but just can't cut it.

Sick as a dog...

I am seriously under the weather with my second cold in less than a month. With all the hacking, headaches, sneezing, and general feelings of yuckiness, pregnancy seems like a breeze in comparison! I hate to admit, but I'm not a very good patient and I can tell Keith's patience is wearing very thin. Thankfully I have a good book, some warm pups, and medicine on the way!

Remington Update

Remington is in the 73% for size. Doc thinks it is a great indicator of him delivering a little early. Keith thinks it is a great sign considering I am vegetarian. I am glad I only gained 5 pounds last month!!! We have set an induction date of March 19th unless he comes sooner. That leaves only 2 months left! Yikes...I have never been more excited or scared for a single event in my life. He has been kicking like a champ and he finally figured out where my bladder and ribs are. I got him back when I scared him by yelling at Baxter. Got to teach him at an early age not to act up...Or Else...Or Else What??? Exactly.

Enchanting

Another reason I love him...

Whenever Keith is around for very long, he starts talking in movie quotes and can't snap out of it. I view it as good training for talking to a toddler all day. His most recent favorites come from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I'm not talking common quotes, he picks the most obscure, quotes you wouldn't even know are in the movie. 'It's only a model' and 'churches!' are the two he seems to use the most. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Also, 'you can't dust for vomit' is one from Spinal Tap I heard several times around the New Year.

When he and Alex Guzman are together the conversation consists entirely of movie, 'The Office' and 'South Park' quotes and is IMPOSSIBLE to follow unless you can read their twisted minds.

The Lovely Lad

Only some of you will get the obscure Spinal Tap reference, but that's okay.

I'm missing Keith and I always think fondly of him when he is gone.
It was amazing to see him interact with friends and my family over the holidays. He has such a magnetic personality. I love to watch as people of all ages and backgrounds are drawn to him. Even animals adore him on sight. When he is home, the fellas want nothing to do with me.
The neighbors invite him to go kayaking and bring him southern style brisket and when Keith works in the yard everyone stops to talk to him. It is a guarantee that both next door neighbors will pop their heads over the fence to say hi every time he is in the backyard. I love that his gruff exterior doesn't fool people!
He was even nice enough to come up with the idea of adding my mom to our cell phone plan, so she can call all her kids for free. He even insisted on getting her a pink Razr so she can be a 'hot mama.'
On Thanksgiving he had me make an extra pumpkin pie to take to the crazy old neighbor that everyone avoids like the plague.
Not only is Keith great to other people, but he is especially great to me. If he had a penny for every time he opened my car door, he would have many pennies. This post might embarass you shmoo, but I had to say it!

I just love you so!
