Meat, glorious meat!

Hello, Keith here. I made the mistake of watching the documentary Food, inc. on Netflix. What an eye opener! I knew that the meat processing industry was pretty gross, but this really made me sick. I have had the hardest time ordering food with meat in it ever since. Candice the vegetarian looks at me with a smug little smile and rubs it in my face. I am not opposed to eating meat, it is just the way it is being produced that is grossing me out. I decided to find a place to buy some real meat until we can raise our own. We stumbled on a little family farm in West Jordan. They raise grass fed beef, chicken, hogs and sell eggs. http://www.utahnaturalmeat.com/
I bought 2 rib steaks, 1 lb of ground pork and a dozen eggs. I grilled the steaks along with a rib eye I bought from Smiths just to compare the tastes. The grass fed won hands down. I made breakfast sausage with the pork and it was unbelievable. And the eggs, well if you have never had fresh free range eggs you are really missing out. The yolks are orange and stick straight up in a frying pan and the flavor is unbelievable. I am not turning hippie or anything like that, but we should know where our food comes from and demand something better than what we are getting. Watch Food, inc. You'll see what I mean.
